Photography quickly became Adysons favorite class. Not only because she had this period with Drew but because Mr. Thick was an amazing teacher. Mr. Thick continuously complemented Adyson on her unique work and sense of color. For their first assignment the students were allowed to work in pairs. Drew quickly grabbed Adysons hand, which apparently meant that he ‘owned’ her. Even though Adyson didn’t really mind it at all. The pairs were supposed to create a collage of pictures that tell a story. Drew was the first to share his idea,

“ So I think it should be a love story.”

“ That would be nice, I guess,” Adyson contributed starting to think that Drew was gay.

“ Exactly, and it would be so simple,” he said with a smile, “ just a bunch of pictures of hearts and kissing and holding hands then were all done. Want to come to my house tonight?”

Adyson didn’t really have any other plans so she agreed. The last bell rang and the two walked to Drew’s home. Once they got to the house Adysons jaw dropped. This was no ordinary house, it was a mansion. At least three stories high the home towered over every thing on the street, even the street poles.

“ Pretty intimidating isn’t it?” Drew asked winking. “ Both my parents are doctors, so they are rarely home, but they defiantly bring home the cash so I don’t mind.”

All Adyson could think of saying was wow, but some how she made herself say,
“It’s amazing I would love to live here.”

They walked up to the front door and entered into a large hallway. Drew led her up to his photography room to get a camera so they could get started. There was a little couch in the room and Adyson sat daintily on a corner of it.

“ Okay so you ready to make out?” Drew requested.

Adyson lifted her eyebrows and made her eyes really big and said in a loud monotone,

“Honestly, you’re an idiot.”

Drew smiled and said thanks and they went downstairs to brainstorm other, more creative ideas. They came up with the idea of making hearts out of different kinds of food. For example, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich shaped like a heart to demonstrate young love.
