Clair has a way of knowing things.  She always knew how to connect with a person.  If a
woman crashes her car, Clair gets a broken bone. Boy falls off the playground, Clair gets a concussion. Man trips on the sidewalk, Clair gets a skinned knee. Baby is pale and purple, Clair can’t breathe. Dog eats poison, Clair is throwing up.
Clair rushes into the ER, touches the unconscious patient screeching in pain. She touches the patient and instantly feels a pain in her arm.
“It’s the arm she said.  That’s where it is.”
