Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of places, if one only remembers to turn on the light.

There Isabel was in her room on her bed.  Her mom came into her room and told her that they are going to move away from New York.  She was crying on her bed for days and she didn’t even talk to her best friend Sophie. Her mom made cakes for all of her birthday parties.  They moved to Willow, Oregon.  Isabel was not to happy to go when she looked at the new house and she was disgusted.  Her mom called her Izzy and was trying to comfort her but that did not work at all.  Her mom said that they are going to buy a cupcake shop Izzy was thrilled*.  They moved to the apartment on top of the laundromat and she said that it smelled like soap and dirty laundry.  She hated it because the stairs that go up to her apartment. She had a bigger room than she had before. She screamed when she saw the room and a ton of decorating ideas flooded into her head all at once.  She asked her mom if she could have her friend can come to their apartment she said yes. When her friend Sophie got to there house Isabel was telling her all of the decorating ideas. Sophie was agreeing with her about all of the decorating ideas.  While they were talking her mom asked if they would have some cupcakes they said that they would love some cupcakes. Then her mom said that if they like the cupcakes she would put that flavor in the cupcake shop Sophie was amazed that they have a cupcake shop in Willow,Oregon. Isabel could not believe it at first either. Then her mom asked if they could help her make some new flavors of cupcakes they said of course we will help with that. They came up with a ton of flavors like: Red Velvet, Strawberry Lemonade, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Chocolate Coconut, Carrot cake, Banana cream pie, Coconut Mango, Root beer Float, Fudge brownie, S’mores, Hawaiian Sky, Pink champagne, cherry devil’s food cupcakes, Old-Fashioned vanilla, Cherries jubilee, peach cobbler, chocolate caramel, Grandma’s applesauce, Lucky lemon-lime,and last but certainly not least the dr.seuss. They worked on that for two weeks straight they were so tired because they make over three thousand cupcakes in those two weeks. After those two weeks Sophie came to their house Isabel was so excited that her best friend did not forget about her. She didn’t though Isabel was happy about that. Sophie said that she would never forget about Isabel.  Her mom signed Isabel and Sophie up for a bake-off they had so much fun they did not really care if they won or not but they were one of the finalists and they went to New York City they were so excited about it they could not sleep that night. Then the next week they were in New York City they had One million Butterflies in their stomach.  Their moms was thrilled about it they could not sit still the kids were doing great. They won for creativity at the other competition they are hoping to do that with this one too but they did not just do that they won the whole thing, they won a lot of money like over one thousand Dollars. They put that money into buying new improvements and they were great and she sent an letter to her dad. She was so excited to tell her dad that they won the contest but she did not tell him that in the letter. Her letter said:

Dear Dad, here’s a list of things New York has taught me :
1. Have a tissue ready when you go see the Statue of Liberty for the first time.
2. Go to the bathroom before you get into a cab in New York City.
3. Cupcakes can be like people. Sometimes a little different, but still good.

When she got home her dad made a welcome home cake and it was delicious they ate that whole cake and they did not even have any lunch or dinner. They had barely any breakfast the next day they were still stuffed. Her neighbors came over to congratulate her for her big win. Everyone was talking about it for another month or so. They had a special menu for the rest of the time and they were  entering other contests to some they won and some they didn’t but that was alright with Izzy and Sophie.
