Tim is a race car driver. I mean, he’s a true “racer”. Unlike other “drivers”, Tim races for his profession. He is a Formula One driver, and has won many titles from Abu Dhabi, Japanese, Chinese, and German Grand Prix. Being a racer had helped him to build his success, however, it has also got him into trouble and even put his life in jeopardy. Tim doesn’t allow himself to lose to anyone, whether on the racing track or on the city road.

One day when Tim was driving back home from the grocery store, a teenage driver swerved in front of him, from the right lane, and cut him off. As a racer, this move represents provocation, and it fired him up. Tim pressed the paddle shift behind the steering wheel and converted his car into sports mode. He was ready to enlighten this kid on how to drive a vehicle. It seemed like the teenager was not interested in learning. The teenager drove through an intersection, disregarding the red light and causing five cars to break to avoid crushing him. The light was still red when Tim arrived at the intersection. Tim drove through the red light just like the teenager, but a semi-truck came out from the road on the right as Tim’s car got to the middle of the intersection. The truck started breaking but it was too late. The tires weren’t able to stop completely and the cargo container on the back started drifting sideways. On a perfect angle, the container struck the front of the Tim’s car and pushed it backward and sandwiched it between the container and other cars behind him.

As Tim woke up, he opened his eyes slowly, and he saw many things that made him think that his brain was not working properly. He saw himself lying on the clouds, and there was a huge gate with shiny gold sticks and a billboard that said “Heaven” on it. In front of the gate, a seven foot tall man with a huge beard stood there with one of those fancy sticks in his hand.

“Welcome!” The man started talking as Tim questioned his eyes’ functionality. “I know you might be confused about your current situation, but here it is, Heaven. This is where everyone comes to first after they lose their life in the ground world.”

“The...What?”

“Heaven. Here, you have nothing to worry about. No pain, no struggles, and no dying. We’ve got everything you want. All you need to do is enjoy it and do whatever you want to do! You have the right to this because you have suffered long enough in the ground world.”

“Huh, that sounds like a plan.”

“But if you wish, we can arrange to send you back to the ground world, although you’d have to answer one of the hardest riddles ever in order to do that, since it’s a lot of  extra work to send you back. Whatever. These are your choices. You may chose your own destiny.”

“Humm, this may sounds ridiculous, but I guess I need to give that little teenager a lesson, I choose to take the challenge.”

“CHALLENGE ACCEPTED,” a deep and loud voice echoed out as soon as Tim finished his sentence.

“Thank you for making that choice. That’ll make my job a lot funner. Oh, by the way I forgot to say, if you miss the riddle challenge you will be sent to Hell.”

“Whaaaat!?”

“It’s not a big deal. Just don’t miss it and you will be fine.”

“Wait, that’s not fair….”

“Here comes the riddle.” The man didn’t wait for Tim to finish his complaint. “Which day of the week is the best day to eat fried food?”

“Wait….what…...ah…..Fri…..Friday?”
“ANSWERED CORRECT,” the deep voice sounded again.

“No way! How’s that possible! It’s been over a hundred years and no one has solved that before! Are you a genius? I can’t allow this to happen….”

Tim opened his eyes and saw himself on the driver’s seat of his car with all the food and groceries on the back seat. Suddenly he saw a car drive passed him from the right lane and cut in front of him. Tim pressed down the paddle shift and got his mind focused and ready do some real racing. As Tim pushed the gas all the way down, a car from the other lane raced out at full speed aiming straight at Tim’s car. The second before they crashed, Tim looked through the window and saw the crazy driver’s face. The driver was the seven foot tall guy with a beard that he had just met not too long ago.
