As Jonathan wakes up he tells himself “Ugh another boring day of school.”

As Jonathan walks downstairs he can smell bacon. He walks into the kitchen and sees his Sister Monica already eating.  Jonathan sits down and begins to eat. After Jonathan is done eating he tells his mom.

         “Thanks for the breakfast, pancakes and bacon are always my favorite.”
         “You’re welcome son, that’s my favorite too.” said Jonathan’s mom.
Then Jonathan realizes what time it is and rushes upstairs to brush his teeth and gets his backpack.
         “Mom hurry we’re going to be late.” says Johnny.
On the car ride to school Jonathan realizes that he had forgotten to do his homework. When Jonathan gets to school he spots his best friend Brian and tells him
         “Bruh, I didn’t do math.”
Brian smiles at Jonathan and tells him
         “Dude I never do homework it’s okay.” 
         “Well yeah you don’t care about your grades but I do,”  says Johnny as the bell rings.
When Johnny gets to class he tells his math teacher, Mrs. Dunaway,
         “Mrs. Dunaway I forgot to do my math homework.  Can I bring it tomorrow?” asked Johnny.  Mrs. Dunaway then tells Johnny
         “Yes, but you will only get half of the credit.”
The rest of the school day goes by like any other. He goes to all of his classes and to lunch. Once Johnny gets to 6th period (his last period of the day) he hears on the announcements

         “All sophomores, this year we will have a class president anyone that wants to run is allowed.” said Mr. Monroe (Johnny’s principal). Then the bell rings and Johnny tells Brian
         “Did you hear the announcements?”
Then  Brian replies with  “Yeah, class president. Are you going to vote for me?”
“No, I am also running.” said Johnny.
Then Johnny and Brian both walked home separate ways.  When Johnny got home he told his sister
         “Monica are you going to vote for me for class president?”
         “I’ll think about it maybe if you are nice to me.” said Monica.
The rest of the day went by like any other. Johnny did his homework, ate, and played video games.
         The next day at school one of Johnny’s closest friends made Johnny a poster that says VOTE JOHNNY FOR PRESIDENT!  After Johnny saw that poster he walked over to Brian and told him
         “Let the best man win.”
Later on that day Brian started giving out papers that say Vote for me 4 CLASS PRESIDENT! The paper also had a peanut butter cup attached to it.

Later on that week Johnny had also found out that his sister Monica voted for Brian instead of voting for her brother.  Johnny knew that he was losing this election so far. When Johnny got home later that day he started working on a letter saying what he will change if he became the president. Later after Johnny finished the letter he walked into his sisters room and told her

         “Why didn’t you vote for me for president? I am your brother!”
         “I didn’t vote for you because I have a crush on Brian.” said Monica.
As Monica and Johnny were talking, their mother walked into the room and said
         “What are you guys talking about?”
Then Johnny told his mom
“Monica voted for Brian instead of voting for me.”
Then his mother asked Monica
         “Monica why did you not vote for your brother?”
         “I didn’t vote for Johnny because I have a big crush on Brian so I voted for him.” said Monica.
“Well Johnny, that’s a pretty good reason.” said Johnny’s mom.
\The next day at school Johnny and Brian were getting very competitive. Brian was giving away pencils for anyone who voted for him. Johnny was saying embarrassing stories about when Brian slept over Johnny’s house and he wet the bed. He was saying
         “One day Brian slept over my house and in the morning he asked if I had any extra underwear and any extra shorts because he had peed himself.”
Brian found out and was extremely mad. He walked over to Johnny and told him
         “Dude, you totally crossed the line!”
         “This is a competition it gets very competitive but yes, i did go too far and i am sorry for that but i want to win so bad!”
         “ I don’t care how bad you want to win, i want to win badly too! But watch i am going to get you back you’ll see.”
When Johnny got home he felt very bad for what he said about Brian. He even started crying for about 5 minutes because he had said that about Brian. Then his mother walked into the room and told him
         “Why are you crying son? Did you lose the election?”
         “No, we still don’t have the election but I did something horrible.”
         “What did you do son?” said Johnny’s mom.
         “I told everyone Brian’s secret. I told everyone that Brian wet the bed when he slept over my house about 2 months ago.” said Johnny.
         “Why did you say that?” said Johnny’s mom.
         “Well it’s because I was so frustrated that everyone was voting for Brian and I thought that if I can tell everyone they will stop voting for him and start voting for me.” said Johnny.
         “Did you at least apologize to Brian,” asked his mom.
         “Yeah, I did apologize but I still feel horrible!” said Johnny.
         “These things happen sometimes you’ll feel better over time,” said mom.
         “Thank you mom, you always make me feel better I love you,” said Johnny.
         “I love you too son but just don’t do stuff like that again okay?” said mom
         “Yeah mom I promise I will never do something like that again,” said Johnny.
The next day at school Johnny got to school early so that he can talk to people and try to get their  vote. He got at least 8 votes but he knew that he needed more if he wanted to win the election. The bell rang and he walked to homeroom. On the way there he spotted Brian and apologized to him once again and he also told him how bad he feels for what he did. Brian didn’t say anything all he did was look at him for a few seconds then laugh.
         Later when it was lunch time Johnny was looking for Brian and someone had told that he went outside. When he got outside he saw Brian and then he got furious. He saw Brian and his sister kissing he was thinking about fighting Brian right there but he remembered what he promised his mother. So he just walked away furious and didn't talk to Brian or Monica the rest of the day.
         The next day at school Johnny walked into class and Brian walked up to him and told him,
“I told you I will get back at you!”
Johnny told him “ Dude I would’ve never done anything to you like that you are the one who took it way too far I just said one of your secrets but you were making out with my sister in front of me!”
         “I don’t care we are even now so shut up!” said Brian.
Later when Johnny got home he started thinking a whole bunch. He knew that Election Day was tomorrow and he was very nervous of what the outcome is going to be.
         The next morning Johnny’s mom woke up Johnny and told him
         “Wake up Johnny today is election day! You don’t want to be late. Come on I made you some pancakes.”
         When Johnny got to school a bunch of his friends swarmed him and started wishing Johnny the best of luck. Johnny looked to the other side of the yard and saw the same thing happening to Brian.
         A few hours later it was time to reveal who the winner was and who would be the Class President. Once the principal counted all the votes the whole room got suddenly quite. Then principal said
         “Ladies and Gentlemen please congratulate your new Class President, Brian!”
Many people got very mad and quite others were jumping up and down and chanting Brian’s name. Once Brian got to the front of the room he said
         “I can’t accept this I don’t deserve to be the president I took this whole election thing too far and I ruined a friendship. Johnny I am so sorry for what I did I would like to make you the new Class President!”
Johnny got up and he thanked Brian a bunch of times and he also apologized and told him that he also took the election too far. All the people that were in the room swarmed Johnny and jumped up and down so happily.
         Later when Johnny got home he hugged his mom and yelled
         “Mom I’m the new president!”
His mother congratulated him and took him out to eat at a fancy restaurant. He also invited Brian’s family and they all had a blast. Johnny and Brian became the bests of friends. Brian later went on to run for president again…
