The Gray Stone Street

June 9, 2013
Today I run. I drop my cover and I run. The sky is violet above me and the ground is dead below. My dreams are dying. My soul is fading. All I can do is run.

I move with the water of the purple sky, as it adores my cool, pale, skin. It falls on me and off me, into puddles in the gray stone street. It explodes from its foundations when it meets my prancing feet. I am happy to feel it on my skin. I rejoice when I catch its icy touch. I laugh when I remind myself of my happiness. It happened once. I loved her once. It was too great to happen again. I am happy. I must be happy. She loved me once and I am happy....
