I walk in thinking, my sanctuary.
They’re more like friends than cousins. They accept me here; I can say and do whatever. We talk. Suddenly they can’t believe I’ve never gone out drinking or done drugs.
I thought they were better than that.
I can’t look at my friends/cousins the same way anymore.
