I’m a master of still silence, tucked inside the shadows of an unformidable mountain, a dust-ridden mechanical box with a dreaded dizzifier inside. I ask permission to enter Serena’s web. I hear footsteps. They pound into the laundry room like a human carrying thunder. A human lost me. A human lost a sock.
