the day i should have died
The day I should have died
It all started on March 12, 2017, I was down at my friends house. Thomas and we decided to go fishing. We went down to the river with are poles and worms. It was hot out so we decided to jump in the river.
The water was moving faster than we could swim. The water was pulling us down the river and we both new that there was a dam up ahead.
We tried swimming to the side to be able to get out but it was to fast. We felt like we were going to die.
We were heading toward the dam very fast, we tried calling for help but nobody was around we felt hopeless.
We went down the dam and I hit my head on a rock and was knocked out.
Thomas grabbed a hold of me and pulled me towards him he was going to hang to a fallen tree in the river. I woke up after a minute or two and then shimmy to the shore.
Thomas and I learned the we should only swim in water that's not so fast.
