dragged down
The salty air whips my hair onto my face. The smell of fuel fills the ocean air. The waves push the boat back and forward teasing it. I shiver as I watch the waves grow. I fall. I panic. The cold water numbs my body. I open my eyes although the salty water stings them immensely. I claw for the surface. I thrash around in the water doing anything, so I can breathe again. The breath in my lungs is running out. My body is numb from the icy water. I exhale for the last time. My time has come.
