Tapping is the sound that fills ears.
Tapping of an anxious foot hitting the cold white floor.
Tapping, a sound that get annoying after awhile.
Tapping of coffee slowly coming out of a coffee maker across the room.
Tapping of a pen while a mother writes on her clip board.
Tapping of the keys of the nurse sitting inside the office.
Tapping of another foot starts.
Another tapping starts but it's not tapping, it's more of a beat.
Beating, is what's consuming me.
My heart beating, faster than the tapping.
Beating, The nurse calls me in.
Beating, My mother stays outside.
Beating- I sit inside the cold room with grey walls, the scent of despair linger in the room.
Beating- My heart starts to fill the quiet room with beating.
Beating- Doctor walks in
Beating- he sits and starts tapping his foot.
