It’s a full count in the sixth; the last game at Shea. The fans struggle to say goodbye. Pedro’s on the mound. He winds up, and throws ball four. Manuel has seen enough; he calls in the reliever. Pedro walks to the dugout, a wave to the home crowd, he says goodbye to the game.
