Love and loyalty run deeper than blood. By: Richelle Mead

For hundreds of years there have been rumors, legends, and stories of fallen angels. Fallen angels are known for their beauty, grace, strength, and mysterious powers. Fallen angels are much like normal angels they just lost sight of what is truly right and made a couple of mistakes. In rumors they are described as beautiful people with incredible gifts. In legends they are described as magical guardians who protect our world from chaos, darkness, and evil monsters. In stories they are described as good and evil beings who make deals with mortals for their souls, but usually the evil ones do not keep their side of the deal.
We do not know if any of this is true but it is very interesting. It is said if you try searching for a fallen angel you will fail. You do not search for them, if you are in need of assistance they will find you. They hide and lurk in the shadows of our cities and towns protecting us from the evil which seeks to destroy our world. It is only thanks to them that we are still alive and thriving today. Fallen angels are not evil nor are they good. They are like us just with a special little gift running through their blood. They can feel things just like us, like love, happiness, hate, joy, and sadness. They can live amongst us and we wouldn’t even be able to point them out.  We are similar to one another in some ways and completely different in others.
They are not perfect, they have made plenty of mistakes in their lives. But we are not perfect either, we have made many mistakes throughout history and we’re still making them today. No one is perfect. We all make mistakes but from our mistakes we gain knowledge and from this knowledge we maybe someday can create a better world. I know some who will read this will just laugh but this is what I believe and I don’t care who disagrees with me. We all have our own opinions and this is mine. I believe fallen angels do live amongst us but are just too scared to reveal their existence. Frankly I don’t blame them for fearing us.  Just look what happened to the witches who revealed themselves years ago. We hurt them and tortured them. We cannot change what happened in the past but we can change what happens in our future. Maybe if we can show we mean no harm maybe, just maybe we might be able to finally meet our dear fallen angels living amongst us.

Thank you. I appreciate hearing what others think and this piece is currently a work in progress. If you would like your welcome to read the improved piece when I'm finished.

I love the topic and I think your opinion (though my beliefs differ) is really quite a beautiful way of looking at things. Just as a note, the beginning seems a little...choppy? But when you get to talking about what you believe in, it flows much more nicely and I can tell that this is something you enjoy speaking or writing about. Anyway, good job on this and I hope you expand on the ideas here. (well, maybe you already have, I haven't looked at your other work...)

I'm not sure. I wrote this out of random.

You got talent thats for sure. But, after the first sentence...It didn't exactly sound like it was going to be fiction. I like your idea...but what is the plot?

Me too. Angels are very fascinating and I love reading old books and researching about them.

I think this is a really interesting topic, but I'm not sure that this specific article fits under the category of "fiction". It is interesting absolutely, but it is more your own personal beliefs than a piece of fiction. That aside, there are many grammatical errors and some problems with the changing of tenses. In addition, this would benefit if you tried to make sure the piece flowed well--something you can do with varying sentence structures and paying special attention to diction. To make this more of a fiction piece, or as you said, turn it into a novel and really grab the reader's attention, I would suggest introducing a character that IS a fallen angel or something of the like. Of course, that is entirely up to the direction you are trying to take your story in. Your idea is great, though, so you shouldn't be discouraged! You have a fantastic start here! Overall, with a little more editing, and maybe some elaboration on your ideas, this could be great!

You should do it. I'd definitely read it. I love to read anything involving angels.

I like that you've shared your unique interest in and passion for fallen angels, but I think the format in which you've written this could be greatly improved with some close proofreading. You've made several grammatical errors, for one. Also, some of your writing seems to be simplistic, but other pieces show that you are very capable of using more creative language. Think about proofreading for word choice and varying your sentence structures a little more. Finally, this piece would be easier to follow if you included a few paragraph breaks. The ideas are very cool, and I think a novel based on your perspective on fallen angels could be beautiful, but be sure that you've mastered the technicalities of writing before you start to embellish. :)
