Weakness in the Face of Society

Rotten tomatoes were stinging my eyeballs. I could only hear synonymous booing from my peers as I drug my feet solemnly off the stage-clarinet in hand. My abnormal, nerdy stature set me apart, but the music I worked eight of my fifteen years on was obviously flawless. Would society ever stop rejecting my appearance? Plastic surgery could fix my dilemma.

I hope that from this piece of flash fiction that people will find a deeper meaning and understand the moral of the story. I hope that the reader will have the ability to comprehend how and why this story relates to the ongoing issues that people as individuals face every day.
