I was put in my box, only to sit on a crowed shelf. This time tomorrow, everything on the self will be gone. It was Halloween time, all the signs were there. The signs were taught to all the new sour patches during the mixing and cooling stages of our production.

It was my turn now. To move on, get sold, get eaten. I have dreamed about getting eating for many days now, since I was created. A candies purpose in life is to get eaten. To make a little kid or an old lady smile as we get consumed.

The lights of the supermarket flickered on and humans rushed around, grabbing my new friends who surround me on all sides. Then a weak, scrawny hand wrapped quickly around my cardboard outsides.

As I got tossed into a small basket outside, with some other brands. I watched them all get taken before me one by one, but not me. Just as I was being brought back in the house, a little kid in a strange turtle costume approached. He ripped open my box, and grabbed me. My dream was fulfilled.
