Her mahogany hair rustled like rough silk in the forget-me-not blue breeze, and her words shimmied down her pale collarbone like cool rain and seeped through his skin. Her slender pianist fingers twined in the stiff grass in anxiety, and the words that she left unsaid caught in her throat.
His cornsilk hair curled into springy coils in the damp humidity, and his ears strained to make out the music of the clouds humming against the trees. it was a delicate indelicacy that ruled that still moment; her luminous green eyes searched his speckled blue ones and they studied each other wordlessly with scissoring glances, secrets floating between them like carbon monoxide.
