The Silhouette (poetic narrative)

Since the cycle of perpetuation, starlight dwells upon the relience of dawn. Yet a silhouette stands rebellious; breaking through the inevitable void, and lingering in alliance with a personality all it's own. Slaves to the turnstiles, the silhouette turns his broken back in defiance. From his shattered, war battered heart, he derives an unthinkable sense of fate. It compells him. Deep down into the young lust of summer martyrdom, this world revolves. Yet the silhouette stands invincible to the confines of time and logic. However, as this revolution fades to black, as does the lights of the solemn city, where the dreams and aspirations of millions, wither and decease. And the silhouette presses on.
