55-2: Short Stories
This old man used to come by the store every day for a newspaper and coffee. He would always chat about the weather with me for some reason. He loved the rain a lot. Two years later on his 92nd birthday, he was killed by lightning striking him. I guess the rain loved him too.
Have you heard of the phrase “What goes around comes around”? That reminds me of my father. He used to say things like that all of the time; sort of a precautionary tale. So I guess when that army of squirrels mauled his face, that’ll teach him not to shoot them with a BB gun.
