Farewell
I say farewell.
I may say farewell to love,
With no experience to saying farewell it might as well break my heart.
I must say farewell to many things, like the tears that have fallen over time. Experiences, I wish that I could leave behind with all of the meaningless things of life.
So I say farewell.
To friendships that have ended. To mistakes that were made.
I now choose to say farewell,
To things that once had meaning,
And to all things that have made me sad.
I just wish that I could leave them all behind,
And start anew this upcoming year,
So that the slates of time will be erased and I can start all over in this place.
