It's Your Life
Your eyes; they’re a cold, solid nothing. You look so distant, and you look sad. When I look at your face, I can’t see you… you’ve been lost. I just see the black in your eyes. There is no emotion; there isn’t even a glimpse of something to remind me that you’re human.
You try to fill the hole in your chest with merchandise… with things that have no relevance. You fill it with greed. You are selfish, and it’s taking over you. You are not curing yourself, you’re merely covering it up and hiding it. You stand in the sadness behind that smile of yours, you are just lying.
Ask sometime… we all know. The things that are eating you up are preventing you from living. You lie in bed with sorrow. You’re happy, standing there, laughing. You’re just in a lucid dream, the state you’re in is horrid. Wake up.
