night
I walked alone on those cold nights when my father was to drunk to drive. It was miles from where i was to my house but i had no other way to get home but walk, all my friends had gone home for the night. I had to stay after school since it was almost summer vacation. I continued to walk down the dark, deserted road towards my house.
As I walked on I thought I heard sounds coming behind me, but every time I turned around nobody was there. So i continued to walk, shivering in the cold. The street lights flickered on and off giving the street an erie glow. I was starting to get terrified.
I was walking accross the street when suddenly a car came out of nowhere. I was still in the middle of the street when it came crashing into me. I layed in the street my breathing shallow and weak, blood pouring out of my broken and burised body. I lay there, everything slowly going dark. I was going to die, in this cold, damp street, alone and no one would even know. Just as i thought that everything went completly black.
