Marked is about a girl named Zoey, who gets marked. Zoey then has to attend the school the house of night, where she starts out as a fledgling and has to train in order to become an adult vampire. The house of night is like any ordinary boarding school. Each student gets a shirt or sweater that shows different designs of the goddess to show what level in school you are.


Zoey is extraordinary; the crescent on her forehead has been filled in, as a gift from the goddess. Just like her power to control all the elements. Zoey’s friends, Shaunee, Erin, Damien, and Stevie Rae are extra ordinary too. They can each control one of the elements.

The first time I read this book I couldn’t put it down. I had read the book for hours!. I would recommend this book to readers who like to read books filled with friendship, love, darkness, action, magic, suspense, and mayhem.
