The White Series, #1: The White

He stormed out of the tent, the flap whipping back. A smaller man fallowed him out, pleading for him to understand. The first man leapt onto the back of a large white stallion, the only white stallion in the regiment. The stallion reared, spinning in the process, and then racing toward the battle field.
“Let him go sergeant. It’s best for him to blow off steam outside camp.”
“Sir! You don’t understand! He took the messenger horse! He took the White! He’s going to breach enemy lines!”
