Daunting Tasks

Mixed Emotions.
I’m scared, excited, curious, and completely absorbed.
I don’t know where I am, and gazing at the emptiness around me is devouring my precious time.
I want to close my eyes and hide, just wish everything better and be home again.
I never imagined conquering my fear of the unknown would be this challenging; but there’s not turning back now.
All I can do is paddle and hope I find lad, before the sea swallows me whole.
