As I ran through my swamp to Herot, I could feel the hunger building up inside of me. It had been so long since I ate; and once I started, I knew there was no way I was ever going to stop. Something is different, though. The armed, positioned men of Beowulf stood outside the once deserted Herot. The hunger inside of me is too strong to let this stop me, so I ate the first person I saw. A human stood in front of me, seemingly ready to fight. Could this battle be different? Suddenly, I was no longer hungry and the urge to leave set in. All alone, Hell’s worst enemy was trying to bring me down. He was hitting me, so I hit him back; how was this soldier of the heavens so immortal? He was stronger than I thought; I had no desire to fight anymore. But, suddenly, this soldier ran to me and tore off my arm. Could this be? Had a human defeated me? The unbeatable greatest evil in the land, ferocious monster of Herot, had been beaten by a human.
