My heart sank, sweat fell, and my toes went numb. I inhaled and in minutes, it was over. One audition. It wasn’t just one game of many, or just one class. It was one obstacle in fulfilling my greatest passion. This story isn’t about me becoming a hero or doing the impossible. I only had to sing and I blew that audition. But someone saw something I was incapable of seeing: potential. I made it. In the following three years, I found talents and courage that I embrace, while doing something I love: performing on stage and in the spotlight.
