I Want ... This work has been published in the Teen Ink monthly print magazine.

I want to make a difference.

I want to leave a mark after I'm gone.

I want to be remembered.

I want to touch the lives of all those I know.

I want to be thought of fondly.

I want to have nice things said of me.

I want to change some part of this world for the better.

I want to follow God's will for my life.

I want to stand proud of who I am.

I want to stand proud of what I believe.

I want to be respected.

I want to be loved.

I want to be admired.

I want to discover who I am.

I want to be happy with what I find.

I want to accept myself for me.

I want to be content with what I have.

I want to stop trying to be something or someone I'm not.

I want to always remember those less fortunate.

I want to help others.

I want to find true love.

I want to be happy.

I want to change.

I want to grow.

I want to be needed.

I want to be important to those who are important to me.

I want to make someone dream.

I want to conquer my fears.

I want to be compassionate.

I want to be kind.

I want to be humble.

I want to be gentle.

I want to be patient.

I want to understand.

I want to find peace.

I want to make a difference.

I feel like I'm looking into a mirror of myself. This could touch a lot of people and make them think about themselves.

I'm confused. Isn't this what a lot if not most people "want"? How does this make you stand out other than you've turned it into "poetry"?
