Summary: Abraham Lincoln was not Great Emancipator, and the Emancipation Proclamation didn't free a single slave. Lincoln defenders have manage to transform the real Lincoln into the great image, icon, and idol he is now. The myth. The real Lincoln was a racists, and the only reason he would free the slaves, would be to get them all out of America! Abraham Lincoln was a Great Politician, and the Emancipation Proclamation was one his tools.
