Hidden Parakeet
This photograph was taken in a palace in Agra, India. The large hole shown in the photo shows where a canon was shot. Inside this historical mark, a bird had made its nest, and sat looking out. Its bright colors and character drew me to take this photo. The beauty of the bird making home of a destructed wall brings a positive outlook on world destruction - no matter the damage made to something, life can recover and thrive again, just like this bird.
