Description:
I took this photo during the 2009 LA Marathon. As you may see I had my leg wrapped because of a minor injury that occurred during the race. I love this picture because it reminds me of how despite the struggle, I finished all 26.2 miles and I hold a great sense of pride for that.
This piece has also been published in Teen Ink's monthly print magazine.
