And i was thinking that its like someone cut themselves and used the lemon to make it worse. Maybe im just really morbid...

I guess life was handing me lemons at the time, figuratively speaking, and I thought about the whole phrase "When life hands you lemons, make lemonade!" And I was in a pessimistic mood, and thought to myself "What if I don't wanna make lemonade? What other options do I have?"

I guess that sparked the thought for the mutilation and bleeding of the lemon, or the problem that's getting you down... then the rest of it came together, with the thought of when you face your problems this way you usually just create a mess and more problems, and the idea of wanting to sew it up and fix them sparked the idea for the needle and thread.
