It was my friend that found the tree, with a great big hole, so sad and lonley was the deep abyss,
so i picked out a flower that wouldn't be too missed,
and stuck it up into its dark hollow center,
lighting up the night where sunlight had not ever entered,
a blazing yellow star now, where emptiness once stood
the tree had grown a soul where it failed to grow wood...
