The start of one's journey is always the most difficult. As I stood at the base of a snowy white-capped mountain at Jiuzhaigou, China, I wrestled with the dread and anticipation that always seems to accompany change. At that moment, I decided to change my perspective--to think of the challenge as an adventure rather than hardship. With a single step forward, I started toward the light at the mountain's peak, knowing that through sweat and courage, I would eventually get there.
