This piece was inspired from the poem "Nothing Gold Can Stay" by Robert Frost. I first encountered the poem through the novel, The Outsiders. It conveys a strong message of how great youth is and how it ends ever-so-quickly.

"Youth" is a short period of our life. It's too precious to spend it trying to be someone else. I think it is also a time in our life when we figure out who we are. Our identities can only be shaped by ourselves. Let's embrace that and show all our colors and paint with them.
