This is a picture that I drew of Vigo Mortenson's character "Aragorn" in the Lord of the Rings movies. It took me 4 hours to do.

OH. MY. GOSH. This looks just like him!! Well Done! You even captured Aragorn's contemplative personality that's partially haunted by his past. Two thumbs up :)

awesome job! when I first started watching LotR, we started with Return of the King, and Aragorn became one of my favs too. (I can't believe as a 6 year-old I said LotR was sick!)

Ha! He looks great, but I think he needs a hug... Anyway good job. It looks like he did in the second movie after the ambush on the way to Helm's Deep, when he falls of the cliff.

Great job! I find that portraits are hard to do as well. Capturing the character of the person can be really hard...it's almost like if you missed one wrinkle, it wouldn't look like the person you're trying to draw! You did exceptionally well, though. It totally looks like Aragorn. :)
Looooove it!

Thanks! Yeah portraits are really hard, but that's part of the reason why I like doing them when I can :)

I think you have captured a real Aragornlike expression in this drawing.  Good work.

Thanks! I know I still have a lot of work to do when it comes to portraits, but it's nice to have feedback :)
