Conversation is a piece that surprised me in the end. The idea and concept of it seemed fitting but I was still shady. The idea was to have several side profiles of faces all clenched together on the paper and for the patterns stick to only straight lines and curved lines. About half way through it I was feeling like it was a bad idea but I decided to finish it anyways. Once I completed it though I must admit its actually very cool. Because of the amount of straight lines on the paper it messes with your eyes and you really have to look at it for a second before you start seeing the faces. It reminds me of a optical illusion almost. One of the problems I faced was my pen running out of ink about half way through it. That made it a challenge. The piece took 3 days to finish. I'm really satisfied with the outcome and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!
