I painted the Good Dreamer in attempt to understand the turmoils of my youth. Painting has always been a very liberating hobby of mine and is a major aspect of my character that I want to share with others. In my painting, I visually incorporated geometric and organic shapes as a metaphorical interpretation of the multiple and varied aspects of my life. The shapes grow into long and waved lines to show that these multiple and varied aspects ultimate coincide together, giving purpose to each distinct characteristic of my painting. The painting was not an endeavor in creating a masterpiece, nor do I consider it so. Rather, it is a major stepping stone of pursuit towards the discovery of my own purpose in life.
