Goodbye MAG
I created an art piece, “Goodbye”, where a guy and a girl are walking away from each other while under umbrellas. This could be interpreted many ways, they could be friends, lovers, family or strangers. I created this because I knew it would be something that most people could relate to and it also related to my life at the time. I wanted the audience to feel sad and lost when they saw it so that they could remember that feeling of leaving someone you love or leaving an opportunity behind. Due to this I glued crayons to the canvas and melted them to create the idea of rain and then I cut out the figures from black construction paper and glued them on.
