In Japan

this is an acrylic painting inspired by a documentary i saw. the documentary was about the suicide rates in Japan and how they are high because many high school students crack under pressure. this doll is dressed in a school uniform and its head is a lightbulb in an attempt to represent the strive for intelligence. although it might not be interpreted by the viewer just by looking at the painting, the person controlling the doll was meant to be the parents.
