Tranquil Sunset

Tranquil Sunset, is one of my minis. It is 3 inch by 3 inch in size. The painting itself came to me while at class. I wanted to do a sunset, but I wasn't sure what to put in the foreground. I peered out the window and saw several of trees bunched together. The one that you see in the picture is one of the trees I saw before me. I just stripped it of its foliage and darkened its trunk.
Now, it is an Acrylic painting and it seems acrylics aren't listed so I am placing this under other.
