Concept art. I wanted to draw a cool sword, and after drawing one that was huge and ridiculous, I shrank it and got this. The hilt is my attempt at a fleur-de-lis, a traditional French symbol. This is because the character that wields the sword is, in a way, the reincarnation of Joan of Arc. This remains one of my favorite drawings.« read less
