My family was discussing weird ways of spelling names, and that inspired the name Alyks. Her name is Alex, she just spells it differently, like her sister Bekuh (Becca).
In her original design, she is blind in her right eye, hence the hair. Further, the rose tattoo was mostly just me practicing drawing roses (one of the only things I'm skilled at drawing), and I thought it would make a nice tattoo.
