My oil painting, "Flower Boy" depicts a literal flower boy who is in distress and smoking. I was inspired by pollution and its fatal powers that destroy nature. Personifying a flower as an actual person emphasizes the seriousness of air pollution because the audience is able to witness the expressions of how nature would feel.

I completely agree, this is quite the dazzler! I mean the expression in the boy's eyes, the perfectly arranged coleurs.  Bravissima!! - Ala Nova :)
