I wish your presence didn’t make me
regret mine
I wish your pedestal wasn’t so tall
I wish your trophies would dim your shine
I wish your reality was more than what I saw

I wish you were more than a glue stick
creation
I wish you had more grooves and faults
I wish you let me know of your imagination
I wish you didn’t taste like salt

I wish you’d stop being nice to see
I wish you’d stop preserving your pretty face
I wish you’d stop caring about me
I wish you’d stop making the most
of your space

You’re so perfect in everything you do
The world would thrive and I would suffer with more like you

when you just wanted to title it "envy" but the title has to be at least five characters long
