Peace of mind is that mental condition in which you have accepted the worst.

Ants crawl between panes of commended shrine
Light radiates off of rotting burnt meat
Salt sting from murky waves enclose coastline
Bloodied peerless creature parts the Red Sea

Fish spines across ocean bed sprawled, Shark cries
thump semi permeable tsunami.
Death glares exude, dilate blood hungry eyes
Indomitable face discerned promptly

Heaps divert the shore, true virtues disclaimed
Faithful servants endure drowning it seems
Final bead of soul seeps out of the saved
Leaves his corpse crushed under his hopes and dreams

But soul rises from watery gravesite
Reincarnated within the soul’s light

This piece is for a project that we have been doing for my language arts class. Its part of my multi-genre project. The focus of my multi-genre project is Aung San Suu Kyi. If you research her then you can find her father liberated Burma from Britain. Therefore I tried to show him as a Moses figure.
