Ten thousand laughs and a million times the smiles, you’ve brought to me in my darkest hour
I know I’ll never have you, it pains me to say, ‘cause I’m in love with what will never be ours
Over the skies, down beneath the Earth, anywhere in between
There’s no escape from these haunting, hurting, wonderful thoughts
Of you and me, with no one standing in between
If only love could go my way, my thoughts wouldn’t all start with maybe someday
But if I didn’t have you here with me, my life would be nothing but misery
I see now as these jumbles come unglued
Miss Valentine I’ll never have you
Oh, now I’ve done it again
I’ve gone and ran my mouth
As much as I’m sure that you’ll hate me for this, I’ve got to get it out
For these long months, I have wasted my days thinking of ways to talk to you
Because I know the conversations I drag you into cause
Internal suffering, my thoughts suffocating, everything turning me into my enemy
Silently screaming at you to let go of me so you don’t have to see the thoughts
Of you and me, with no one standing in between
If only love could go my way, my thoughts wouldn’t all start with maybe someday
But if I didn’t have you here with me, my life would be nothing but misery
I see now as these jumbles come unglued
Miss Valentine I’ll never have you
Good Morning darling, I wish I could say… Someday
But that’s just a dream of you… and me
I only wish that you could be mine, Dear Miss Valentine…
