Regret

If regret were a person, it would follow me around trying to shut me down,
trying to bring the past back into my life as if it just happened,
Haunting me into reminiscing on the old,
and forgetting what’s important now,
I know I can’t let the evil trap me,
that’s why I’m just going to close the door on that
demon.
