Thump, thump, thump,
The drum begins to beat
Thump, thump, thump,
I get out of my seat
Thump, thump, thump,
I'll give a girl a chance
Thump, thump, thump,
To join me in a dance
Thump, thump, Thump,
The sound our feet will make
Thump, thump, thump,
As we shimmy and we shake
Thump, thump, thump,
As we stomp across the floor,
Thump, thump, thump,
Til we can dance no more
