There is beauty in
People falling asleep
The rise and fall of breath
The warmth of closed eyes and darkness
It is as if sleeping people
Do not bear the burden of sin
Nor have witnessed the evils of the world
And I long to kneel at your bedside
While you drift to sleep
So that for a moment
I may imagine
You are at peace
