Deftly moving fingers
Smoothly gliding hands

A lovely sound comes floating
A heavenly atmosphere transcends

His face contorts in meditation
Thinking solely on his muse

A dancer twirls within the air
Sparks burst forth in everyone’s heart

The audience stands at attention with infatuation
Their eyes shine as the notes play

No whisper is present, only the haunting notes
They travel abstractly through the large, domed amphitheater

The musician plays the climax in crescendo
Concentrating, yet not really present in mind

The crowd is amazed and enchanted
At the man’s great, great talent

The music begins to slow
The fictitious dancer slows too

Notes cascade all around
And they gradually end

The musician stands and bows
The piano standing proud beside him

The audience claps and shouts
For the musician has shared his soul
